Our Surf School was born in May 2004. The idea was to do the work that we love and use our worldwide experience from a full life dedicated to this sport and life style. We thought that Folly Beach was missing a fun and responsible surf school, that dedicates full time to teaching the Soul of Surfing. Incorporating generations of experience with intuition and passion for surfing.
The surf camps are very special for Us, the act of just being around a group of kids is a refreshing and rejoicing experience!

Kevin was born in San Francisco CA, moved to the Cayman Islands and then moved to Charleston in 2010. He's been an avid skateboarder all his life, but his move to Charleston gave him the opportunity to attend a Shaka Summer Camp where he fell in love with surfing! Whether it's below freezing with howling offshore winds in the winter or a hot summer day, Kevin can always be found surfing and stoked. Kevin is grateful to be able to teach the sport he loves while sharing his passion and spreading the stoke around to all!
Surfing has always been a part of Grace's life since she was little and she couldn’t be more thankful. Grace loves surfing for the thrill of it and because it’s great exercise with her family and friends. There’s no place Grace feels better than in the water and surfing. She's surfed in the British Virgin Islands, Nicaragua, California and all along the East Coast. Surfing is something Grace hopes she can share with everyone.
Noa was born in Alaska and moved to Folly Beach where he fell in love with surfing at age 3. He grew up surfing with his family in Folly and up and down the East Coast. He loves to surf because it is an amazing way to relax, workout, have fun and to relieve stress. He loves surfing on the East Coast, but his favorite surf spot is Marias in Puerto Rico! He focuses on finding the best waves and having the most fun in the water. Being able to share his knowledge of surfing to others brings him joy and he loves to see others he has taught succeed.
